UNITE Magazine

After 14 issues and one year of bringing you the stories that affect the disabled community, your disability rights magazine UNITE has ceased publication, effective immediately.

We would like to thank each and every one of the contributors, Mik Scarlet, Sarah Brisdion and everyone else who put their fury and their struggle for the rights of disabled people into words for UNITE. More than anything, we would like to thank you, our readers, for supporting the magazine.

In these trying times and with Brexit looming over us, the cost of publishing, printing and posting magazines has unfortunately resulted in us being unable to sustain the cost of UNITE, and we have been forced with a heavy heart to examine how financially viable it is to continue. With great sadness we realised that we would not be able to continue to produce the magazine that each member of the UNITE team put their heart into making the best it could be.

This unfortunately means we will no longer be able to maintain social media, but should anyone – subscribers or well-wishers – like to contact us, a member of staff will be available to answer your queries at our info account: info@unitemagazine.co.uk

Thank you so much for reading, and keep fighting.
